Position: Field Application Scientist - EMEA

This role provides technical expertise to sales reps, resellers, and customers during the sales process and works directly with clients. It reports to the Manager of Field Application Scientists and is part of the Genomic Medicine division in Europe, fully remote. Our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-sales: Promote Cytiva Nano Medicine products, manage leads, develop opportunities, and support sales growth. Attend trade shows and conferences, evaluate customer processes, and provide solutions to enhance sales and identify new opportunities.
2. Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers, set quarterly priorities, and contribute to key account plans.
3. Product and Market Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of Cytiva Nano Medicine products, applications, and competitive landscape. Provide feedback to marketing and product teams.
4. Training and Support: Conduct customer training, applications seminars, and provide technical support via phone, email, and in person, troubleshooting issues and interpreting customer needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in biotechnology, genomic medicines, nanomedicines, or equivalent experience.
• Lab or application experience in nanoparticle formulation, drug delivery, or cell biology; instrumentation troubleshooting skills.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and account management skills; team player with customer focus.
• Excellent communication skills and scientific presentation experience; technical writing ability.

Additional Requirements

• UK Driver’s license; willingness to travel 50% within Europe and internationally.
• PhD preferred.
