The Cellular Pathology Department at Southmead Hospital is a well-equipped, UKAS-accredited (ISO15189:2022) and IBMS-approved training department. Handling approximately 80,000 requests annually, we offer comprehensive services including Histopathology, Cytopathology, and Immunohistochemistry to Bristol's two acute Trusts, local GPs, and other centres in the south west. The work covers all specialisms except Neuropathology.

We invite applications from HCPC-registered biomedical scientists experienced in histology. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, passionate about healthcare, and enjoy working within a friendly team providing histology services in a busy department.
