Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking a talented and motivated HCPC‑registered Band 5 Biomedical Scientist to join our friendly, dynamic Clinical Chemistry team at King’s Mill Hospital on a fixed term basis.
We are looking for an individual with strong scientific and technical acumen, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a busy diagnostic environment. Candidates who bring excellent organisational skills, confident communication, and a meticulous approach to their work will thrive in this role. You will be based within the state‑of‑the‑art Pathology Department at King’s Mill Hospital, working alongside a dedicated and supportive team committed to delivering high‑quality patient care..
Once fully trained you will participate in the 24/7 the shift system, working in line with UKAS standards. The department uses Roche cobas pro analysers.
It is essential that you have completed the Certificate of Competence to be considered for this post.
