Job summary

Altera Recruitment Group is supporting a specialist renewable energy business in the search for a Plant Manager to lead the operation of a power plant in Lincolnshire. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for safe, efficient and commercially successful plant operation, reporting to the Project Director and overseeing site operations, maintenance, financial performance and personnel.

The role suits an experienced power industry professional with a strong technical background,

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in power generation preferred.
• Significant management experience in power/renewables.
• Solid understanding of H&S legislation and environmental permits.
• Experience with financial management, budgeting and reporting.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient operation and maintenance of the plant.
• Optimise plant availability, production planning and long-term asset performance.
• Oversee operational budgets, business plans, financial reporting and performance monitoring.
• Lead, develop and motivate a multidisciplinary site team.
• Coordinate fuel reception, maintenance planning, safety and environmental procedures.
