Job summary

BWSC is seeking a Plant Manager for our biomass powered site in Sleaford. You will report to the Project Director and lead staff who operate and maintain the plant, ensuring safe and efficient production.

The role requires a strong technical background in mechanical/electrical/marine engineering, significant power industry leadership, and experience with safety and environmental standards. On offer is a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong technical education in mechanical, electrical or marine engineering.
• Significant experience in the Power Industry in a managerial role.
• Experience with safety legislation and environmental permits, ISO9001/14001/45001.

Responsibilities

• Develop Biomass project business plans aligned with company strategy and report variances.
• Oversee long-term asset performance and profitability of the site.
• Ensure production optimisation and production planning.
