Job summary

University of Bath International Study Centre seeks an experienced tutor to design, deliver and develop modules, and to contribute to student support and innovative teaching practices. You will work with colleagues to ensure high standards and effective delivery of teaching programmes in line with the Centre's education strategy.

You will update the VLE, prepare assessments, and coordinate with the Progression, Welfare and Support teams to support student progression.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area.
Experience teaching in UK higher or further education; teaching qualification preferred.
Ability to develop and update teaching materials; experience with VLE.
Competence in teaching and admin IT (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email).
Student-centred and client-focused approach; commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities

Design, deliver and develop modules offered by the centre.
Contribute to delivery and assessment of provision.
Prepare module examinations and provide feedback to students.
Update and maintain the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
Collaborate with Student Experience Team, Registry and Operations on induction and registration programmes.
Support student progression with Welfare and Support teams; engage in scholarly activity.
