The apprentice will handle receiving, organizing, and processing patient and non-clinical samples, including tasks like cell isolation, plasma and serum separation, thawing, and cell counting. Responsibilities also include lab maintenance, preparing materials, managing inventory, and assisting scientists with experiments.
Successful apprentices may secure full-time positions and have opportunities to pursue higher qualifications such as a BSc in Applied Bioscience. The program also offers pathways to becoming a registered Science Technician (RSci Tech) and careers in various sectors.
We seek focused, meticulous individuals who are quick learners, attentive to detail, and able to follow instructions. Enthusiasm, teamwork, and a desire to learn are essential. Applicants must be aged 18+, hold a valid driving license, and be able to commute within 45 minutes.
