Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent research experience in Bioinformatics, Genomics, Computational Biology, or related field.
• Strong background in genomics and transcriptomics with complex plant genomes experience.
• Experience with genome assembly, annotation and variant analysis tools.
• Linux environments, HPC/Cloud (SLURM, OCI) experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement bioinformatics algorithms for genomic and transcriptomic data analysis.
• Translate complex research questions into well‑defined analytical approaches and milestones.
• Apply ML methods to predict traits and phenotypes from genomic data.
• Analyze large-scale genomic datasets from complex plant genomes.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to integrate algorithms into production pipelines.
• Communicate analytical approaches and findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
