Job summary

MC Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Plant Operator/Operations Technician for an Anaerobic Digestion site near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The role operates on a days-based shift within a small operations team.

You will run daily plant operations via SCADA, perform site checks, manage mobile plant operations, receive deliveries, and respond to call-outs. A UK driving licence is required and prior plant experience is essential; training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Daily plant operations via SCADA systems.
• Experience operating forklifts/telehandlers/shovel loaders on a process plant.
• Willingness to work a days-based shift pattern and hold a UK driving licence.

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Plant Operator/Operations Technician, to work as part of a small operations team. This is a days-based role on an Anaerobic Digestion site based near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Our client is a leading business within the Renewable Energy sector, seeking a Plant Operator to join their team.

Responsibilities

• The day-to-day operations of the plant via SCADA control systems
• Carrying out daily site checks and first line maintenance tasks
• Mobile Plant Operations
• Accepting deliveries of chemicals, consumables, and stores
• Responding to call-outs
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• Previous plant operations experience ie: using forklift/telehandler/shovel loader
• Experience working on a process plant is advantageous eg: Anaerobic Digestion/Water Treatment/ Chemical Plant/ Food processing
• The ability to work on a days based shift pattern
• A Full UK driving licence
