Job summary
Mott MacDonald Bentley in Scotland is seeking a BIM Technician to deliver CAD/BIM design data across water and wastewater schemes from feasibility through to construction, across Scotland. The role involves developing 3D models, ensuring CAD/BIM standards, supporting the common data environment (Autodesk CC/BIM360) and collaborating with designers to balance time, cost and quality.
A recognised CAD/BIM qualification and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3D are essential, with a focus on
Qualifications
- Recognised CAD/BIM qualification or related field.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Experience delivering 3D models in Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM360.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 information management.
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage time.
Responsibilities
- Deliver CAD/BIM design data and ensure QA against standards.
- Model in 3D to support design collaboration and clash resolution.
- Support common data environment development and process.
- Create a BIM element library for model reuse.
- Guide junior BIM technicians and share technical knowledge.
