Job summary

TRUE Engineers Limited in Exeter, Devon, is seeking a Digital Engineer to join a friendly, ambitious design team. The role focuses on MEP/building services design, with 3D modelling, BIM coordination, and progression opportunities within a flexible working arrangement.

The package ranges from £35,000 to £55,000 (DOE) plus benefits such as 25 days holiday, bank holidays, pension, medical cover and flexible working.

Qualifications

Good working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
Experience with BIM processes and data, including COBie data and BIM Execution Plans.

Responsibilities

Produce 3D models and drawings from mark-ups.
Assist with feasibility, design, and contract-level building services drawings.
Identify gaps in design information and liaise with engineers to obtain missing details.
Coordinate models between building services, structure, and architectural finishes.
Compile drawing and model packages for issue using Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe PDF and IFC.
Maintain and update drawing registers in line with drawing control procedures.
Set up Revit models.
Upload models and drawings.
Support the building performance team by producing plans, sections, and elevations.
Demonstrate understanding of BIM protocols, standards, LOI/LOD.
Work with the wider design team and assist with development, training of trainees and work experience students.
