Job summary

VVB Engineering seeks a skilled BIM Modeller to support the HS2 Old Oak Common project. Based in West London and Waterloo, you will produce and coordinate high-quality 3D CAD models with embedded data in line with BEP and project standards.

You will lead model development from concept to detail, ensure clash avoidance, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using Bentley ProjectWise, OpenBuilding Designer, RaceWay and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience on major infra/transport projects.
• Experience in engineering production environments.
• Background in railway, transportation, or construction.
• Experience delivering UK BIM standards BS1192 / ISO 19650.
• Proficient with Bentley software: ProjectWise, OpenBuildings, Raceway, MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate high-quality 3D CAD models aligned with BEP.
• Lead model development from concept to detailed construction models.
• Ensure models meet project standards and BEP requirements.
• Coordinate with BIM leads to optimize clash results.
• Support project team with BIM guidance and issue resolution.
• Maintain ProjectWise Common Data Environment and data management.
• Attend coordination meetings and liaise with stakeholders.
