Fyba Talent is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of specialist water and wastewater treatment installations. The role focuses on developing detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using Autodesk Revit, and producing technical documentation to assist project coordination.

You will work with project management and installation teams to translate engineering concepts into buildable solutions, with occasional UK site visits for surveys and installation

Competenze

• A practical, proactive approach to work with ability to operate independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles, equipment layouts and installation requirements.
• Experience preparing engineering schedules and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• At least 2 years practical experience using Autodesk Revit, ideally within mechanical, process or plant engineering.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and P&IDs.
• Experience producing detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain 3D Revit models and 2D engineering drawings for mechanical and electrical plant installations.
• Produce equipment layouts, pipework arrangements, general arrangement drawings and fabrication details.
• Interpret engineering specifications, P&IDs and site information to deliver accurate, coordinated designs.
• Prepare and maintain equipment schedules, material take-offs, bills of materials and supporting technical documentation.
• Identify design clashes, installation constraints and potential engineering risks.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors and suppliers to resolve technical queries and support project delivery.
• Undertake occasional UK site visits for surveys, dimensional checks and installation support.
• Ensure all drawings and documentation meet relevant engineering standards and project requirements.
