Job summary

Amey is seeking a BIM Manager to join our Digital Engineering practice. You will lead digital teams, deliver BIM across projects, manage CDE, and drive AI initiatives and digital solutions.

The role covers rail, highways and civil infrastructure with opportunities for personal and professional growth. You will oversee BIM deliverables, implement standards, manage budgets and collaborate with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience applying BIM processes to complex or ambiguous projects.
• Ability to advise teams on design and specification processes.
• Proficiency with BIM software and design/analytical tools.
• Experience applying BIM standards and codes (BS 1192, ISO 19650).
• Strong knowledge of suppliers and services in the BIM supply chain.
• Excellent oral communication and presenting skills.
• Understanding of CDM and risk assessment.
• Ability to manage spatial coordination and resolve interface clashes.
• Experience leading a medium-sized digital team.
• Familiarity with common data environments and BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Produce and check BIM deliverables to meet quality, cost and programme targets.
• Manage project budgets and costs for deliverables.
• Liaise with client and supplier representatives at peer level.
• Contribute to bids and work-winning activities.
• Act as people manager when required.
