Job summary

Amey is seeking a Principal BIM Information Manager to join its Digital Engineering team and deliver BIM across rail, highways and civil projects. The role offers flexible UK-wide work options and the chance to influence major infrastructure schemes.

You will lead digital teams, drive BIM standards, support CDE management and contribute to AI and digital solutions. This position emphasises leadership, collaboration with clients, and advancing BIM capabilities across projects.

Qualifications

• Applied BIM processes to complex projects and mentored teams.
• Experience in design and specification processes and managing others.
• BIM lead for a programme or group of projects.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards and ISO 19650/ BS1192.
• Experience with CDEs and emerging technologies.
• Knowledge of client and international BIM standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce and lead delivery of BIM deliverables meeting quality, cost, and program.
• Manage budgets and costs for deliverables.
• Coordinate with client and supplier representatives and present proposals.
• Lead bids and work-winning activities with accountability to the bid director.
• Act as people manager when required.
