Job summary

Amey is recruiting an experienced BIM Coordinator to lead BIM deliverables across engineering commissions, ensuring quality, cost, and programme alignment. The role involves overseeing a small to medium BIM team and engaging with clients and suppliers to progress projects.

You will contribute to bids, support CDE adoption, and drive BIM standards across rail, highways, and civil infrastructure sectors, with flexible hybrid working across the UK.

Qualifications

• Applied BIM process and principles to clearly understood situations, where concepts are matched to problems.
• Very good working knowledge of relevant software and design tools such as ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Microstation and Revit.
• Experience applying BIM standards and codes of practice, e.g. BS 1192 and ISO 19650.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of supplier services.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly.
• Strong CDM and risk assessment understanding.
• Knowledge of interface management and spatial coordination.
• Experience working in a common data environment (CDE) and BIM processes.
• Level 4 qualification or equivalent preferred; EngTech status desirable.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing junior staff and taking responsibility for their actions.
• Managing budgets and costs for BIM deliverables to ensure commercial success.
• Liaising with client and supplier representatives at peer level and attending progress meetings.
• Contributing to bids and the general work winning function.
• Acting as people manager when required by the business.
