Job summary

HDR in London is seeking a Digital Design Specialist (Structural) to join our Building Engineering Services team. You will model BIM elements, maintain discipline models, and deliver digital outputs in line with the Digital Delivery Plan and project scope.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers and other specialists, coordinate designs across disciplines, and ensure model health and compliance with company standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• Technical degree / HND / HNC or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years related industry experience
• Detailed working knowledge of Revit and ACC / Forma document management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools
• Experience with 3D Coordination tools including ACC / Forma & Navisworks
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational traits
• Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
• Experience working on single large or simultaneous small projects

Responsibilities

• Accurately model the BIM elements in the correct constraints of the modeling environment
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, & diagrams using the current 3D software
• Create and maintain the discipline model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output
• Coordinate the design with other discipline models through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination
• Monitor, improve, and maintain company standards and model health
• Assist or execute any additional Digital Delivery requirements identified on the project
