Job summary

Mace is seeking a BIM Information Manager to support the delivery team through the project lifecycle, developing BEP, maintaining ISO19650 standards and ensuring secure information handling. The role requires collaboration with PMs and design teams and a focus on data standards across the common data environment.

Qualifications

• Level 6 qualifications (or equivalent) degree apprenticeship, degree with honours (BA/BSc etc).
• Content management library systems.
• Autodesk desktop products.
• Validation and verification tools.
• Visualization tools.
• Databases.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Delegate tasks to ensure completion.
• Develop BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Understand ISO19650 and applicable standards for clients.
• Ensure security protocols for viewing and issuing information.
• Implement governance and assurance processes.
• Monitor digital handover to completion.
• Produce information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, EIR) per ISO 19650.
• Produce information standards, methods and procedures, and shared resources.
• Read and support delivery of Mace processes and procedures guides.
• Develop object libraries aligned with the BIM strategy.
• Assure and check the information model.
• Produce the information model (Pre-RIBA Stage 3).
• Review current technology solutions and research new BIM tools.
