Arup in Cardiff is seeking a Senior MEP Building Services BIM Designer to join our multidisciplinary Building Engineering Team across Wales, Midlands and South-West. You will lead BIM coordination, develop coordination strategies and support project managers with progress updates.

role you will fulfil a key role in the delivery of projects, including the planning and production of models, drawings, and data while supervising and supporting team members and collaborating with colleagues across disciplines. You will be the focal point for collaborative BIM delivery, developing coordination strategies, managing coordination with other disciplines and stakeholders, while encouraging innovation and continuous improvement. You will support the Project Manager by communicating progress and potential issues, helping them to ensure that objectives are achieved in line with plans. The Opportunity

We have a new opportunity for a Senior MEP Building Services BIM Designer who is excited by technically challenging work on cutting-edge projects to join our creative and collaborative Building Engineering Team that spans the Wales, Midlands and South-West.

Based in our Cardiff office, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team of over 300 engineers and BIM designers.

Is this role right for you?

We are looking to speak to people who:

• Have in depth knowledge of Autodesk Revit, including model setup, modelling, drawing production and family management.
• Have a strong background in MEP building services systems and coordination, across a range of project sectors and stages.
• Have a clear understanding of the principles, processes and standards required to produce high-quality models and drawings.
• Have experience of managing and supporting others through guidance, training, and constructive feedback.
• Possess strong communication skills at all levels with regular reporting to Project Managers and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
