Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a BIM Coordinator for a multi-year UK nuclear infrastructure programme centered in Reading and Aldermaston. You will support the digital vision, PM strategy, and multi-discipline teams, with occasional travel to London.

The role offers a hybrid work pattern: three days on site and two days remote, with SC clearance required. Primary responsibilities include enforcing BIM standards, coordinating 2D/3D models, and integrating BIM with schedule and cost templates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• BIM proficiency and awareness of ISO 19650 standards.
• Experience with 2D/3D BIM authoring across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with BIM implementation and project naming conventions.
• Ensure BIMs conform to BEP and perform model housekeeping.
• Capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Develop/implement BIM health-check processes against requirements.
• Integrate BIM with schedules for 4D simulations.
• Link BIM with quantities for progress reporting.
• Verify design is clash-free.
