Lorien is seeking a Digital Information (BIM) Coordinator to support the management and development of project information across infrastructure projects. The role focuses on validating information, ensuring compliance with standards, and improving information management processes.

Based in one of multiple office locations (Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness or Perth), you will collaborate with delivery teams, coordinate data workflows, and upskill teams to ensure accurate asset data and documentation

Job Title: Digital Information (BIM) Coordinator
Duration: 6 months
Base Location:Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness or Perth(Applicants should be based from one of the available office locations and be prepared to spend up to 50% of their working week in the office.)

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Digital Information (BIM) Coordinator to play a key role in the management and development of project information and business documentation across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.
Successful candidates will support the development of information management processes and procedures, while validating project information and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the configuration of modules within a Common Data Environment (CDE) to meet project and delivery team requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of project-specific information management processes and documentation, aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Support the upskilling of internal teams and external partners to ensure understanding of systems, processes, and required workflows.
• Act as the main point of contact for information management activities on assigned projects, coordinating the sharing of sensitive and confidential information where required.
• Verify and validate model information and asset data to ensure accuracy and completeness, liaising with project stakeholders to maintain consistency across projects.

Requirements

• Excellent administration and organisational skills, with experience using collaboration software and Common Data Environments. Strong technical knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Civil 3D.
• Proven project delivery experience with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, manage meeting schedules, and produce clear, concise reports.
• A data-driven approach, with experience providing technical support and identifying process improvements. Knowledge of Power BI and Scripting using Python or C# would be advantageous.
• Understanding of ISO 19650, BIM frameworks, and industry best practice relating to information management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a professional and collaborative approach to achieving successful project outcomes.
