Billing Assurance Coordinator | Hybrid Working
Due to the continued success of our business, we’re looking for a Billing Assurance Coordinator to join our team.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers are billed accurately and consistently, investigating discrepancies and supporting improvements to our billing processes and controls.
Working closely with Finance, Collections, Customer Service, IT and Sales, you’ll investigate billing queries, overcharges and undercharges, resolve complaints and identify the root causes of billing issues.

What you'll be doing
- Monitor billing activity and investigate billing errors, anomalies and discrepancies.
- Audit customer accounts and billing processes to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Investigate and resolve billing queries, invoice disputes, overcharges and undercharges.
- Process billing adjustments, credits, refunds and account corrections.
- Take ownership of billing-related complaints, providing fair and timely resolutions.
- Clearly explain billing calculations, charges and adjustments to customers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across Finance, IT, Sales, Customer Service and Collections to resolve issues.
- Support system changes, projects and continuous improvement initiatives affecting billing.
- Produce reports and analyse billing accuracy, trends, exceptions and complaint outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and requirements.
What you'll bring
- Experience in billing, finance administration, customer accounts, revenue assurance or a similar role.
- Good understanding of invoicing, account adjustments, credits, refunds and customer account management.
- Experience investigating and resolving billing discrepancies and customer account issues.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong customer focus and experience handling queries and complaints professionally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex billing information clearly.
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience producing reports and analysing performance data.
- Experience within telecommunications, utilities, subscription services or another high-volume billing environment is desirable.
