Job summary

Camino Partners Ltd in Billericay is seeking a Credit Control & Billing Assistant to join the finance team in a hybrid role. The position focuses on credit control, billing, and finance administration within a fast-growing recruitment business serving renewables, offshore and marine sectors.

You will handle chasing payments, raising invoices, reconciling payments, and supporting payroll and accounts payable as part of a broader finance team. Strong numeracy and client communication are essential.

• Previous experience in credit control, billing, finance administration or a related role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Confident communication skills, particularly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Chasing clients for payment of outstanding invoices.
• Allocating payments and completing bank reconciliations.
• Raising monthly sales invoices in line with client requirements.
• Managing invoice finance facility notifications and reconciliations.
• Responding to client queries and resolving billing issues.
• Supporting the Credit Controller with debtor balances and aged debt.
• Building strong relationships with clients.
• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of the credit control system.
• Assisting with accounts payable and purchase invoice processing.
• Supporting the payroll team when required.
• Assisting with internal payroll commission calculations.
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc responsibilities.

The business provides specialist workforce solutions, supplying skilled professionals to clients working across major energy and marine projects internationally.

Following significant growth, they are looking to add a Credit Control & Billing Assistant to their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience across credit control, billing or finance administration who wants to develop their experience within a fast-paced, growing business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Chasing clients for payment of outstanding invoices
• Allocating payments and completing bank reconciliations
• Raising monthly sales invoices in line with client requirements
