Job summary

VD Recruitment has partnered with a growing and loving bilingual nursery in South West London seeking a Nursery Practitioner. The role is full-time, permanent, with a 40-hour week and a salary of £27,000–£30,000 per annum.

You will support high-quality childcare, implement EYFS, and collaborate with parents while maintaining safeguarding standards and contributing to room development plans. The nursery holds a Good Ofsted rating.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years or higher.
• Previous/Current experience in a Nursery Setting.
• The ability to deliver high-quality practice.
• Able to work 40hrs/week, all year round.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• As a Nursery Practitioner, act as a role model for the Early Years, following and implementing EYFS.
• Engage with the room development plan and Ofsted requirements.
• Fulfil the role of a key-person and maintain parent communication.
• Support the Room Leader to embed nursery initiatives and take on projects.
• Respond to parent queries politely and professionally.
• Adhere to safeguarding requirements and audit standards.
