Job summary

TransPerfect, a global leader in language services and technology, seeks a Sales Associate to develop new business relationships and act as the first point of contact for existing clients.

You will learn the company’s capabilities, promote services, and educate clients on benefits while supporting client expectations in coordination with Production Management. This role involves outbound outreach, relationship building, and travel to client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in a high-tech environment desirable.
• Familiarity with web technologies, desktop publishing, databases and networks.
• Strong analytical skills to project revenues and budgets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willing to travel to offsite client or sales meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of TransPerfect's services and competitive advantages.
• Identify prospective customers and target organisations.
• Develop new client relationships via cold calling, the Internet, and trade shows.
• In coordination with Sales Management, identify, qualify, develop and close sales opportunities.
• Promote and educate clients regarding TransPerfect’s services.
• Provide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with the Production Management Team.
• Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures.
• Take an active role in learning about each client’s industry, business needs and company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high level of service.
• Perform other special projects or duties when required.
