Job summary

Thorlabs is seeking an entry-level Accounts/Credit Support specialist who can help the UK/France teams with billing, credit control and ledgers. The role is hybrid, based in Ely, UK, with emphasis on French client and supplier contacts.

You will assist the Credit Controller and AR Supervisor while developing skills in Sales and Purchase Ledgers for Thorlabs SAS in France. Ideal candidates are comfortable in a busy department, able to multitask and learn quickly, and eager to contribute to

Qualifications

• Fluent in French with confident communication in English.
• Entry level role, previous accounts exposure desirable but not required.
• Able to multitask and support multiple ledger processes.

Responsibilities

• Support Credit Controller and AR Supervisor UK/France in sales ledger tasks.
• Assist with billing, payment matching and resolving invoice queries.
• Help with Purchase Ledger for France (Thorlabs SAS) and month‑end tasks.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to expedite payments where needed.
• Utilise Excel and D365 to maintain accurate ledgers and reports.
