Job summary

CloserStill Media in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join the Finance team at the Coventry office. You will manage debt collection and billing for UK and France shows, working closely with Sales and the wider Finance team.

Fluency in French is highly valued to support cross‑border processes. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control and sales invoicing
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in French preferred for cross‑border billing
• Able to work accurately under deadlines
• Understanding of how finance interacts with other departments

Responsibilities

• Manage debt collection by phone and email for allocated shows and ensure timely payments
• Circulate weekly debtors reports and communicate status to exhibition teams and Credit Control Supervisor
• Hold regular update meetings with Sales and Supervisors to agree actions
• Identify bad payers and propose actions to secure payment before events
• Post and allocate customer receipts to accounts and resolve billing queries with clients and internal teams
• Provide ad hoc reporting and assist with invoices and billing administration on shows under your control
