Job summary

The Electric Car Scheme in Hayes/London hybrid is seeking a Bid Writer to own tender responses and support sales colleagues, building a bid library and shaping processes as activity grows. You will craft clear, persuasive submissions, coordinating with experts and using AI tooling to accelerate drafts without compromising quality.

As the team grows, you’ll develop into a more senior bid management role, ensuring compliance with specifications and deadlines while delivering winning bids.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing tenders end-to-end.
• Experience writing bids for mid-market and enterprise buyers.
• Familiarity with CCS or public sector frameworks is preferable.
• Able to turn technical details into clear, persuasive answers.
• Able to run multiple bids under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review ITT, PQQ and RFP on receipt, break down requirements and deadlines into a response plan.
• Agree win themes with the lead salesperson and structure answers to scoring criteria.
• Write clear, persuasive responses gathering evidence from experts and using AI tooling.
• Ensure submissions comply with buyer spec, deadlines and formatting.
• Build and maintain a bid library of reusable answers and templates.
