Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd invites an experienced Bid Manager to lead complex commercial Solar PV, EV and renewables tenders across the UK. You will own bids from opportunity to award, working with sales, design, estimating and delivery teams, ensuring competitive and compliant submissions.

The role focuses on NEC/JCT contractual understanding and public sector frameworks, with hybrid working from Reading and other South of England locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction, M&E, engineering or renewables.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts and their commercial implications.
• Experience handling public sector frameworks, tenders and mini-competitions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end bid process for Solar PV, EV and renewables tenders.
• Lead bids from opportunity through to tender submission, negotiation and award.
• Review NEC/JCT contracts, specs, scopes and tender docs.
• Coordinate input from sales, design, estimating, commercial and delivery teams.
• Prepare PQQ, SQ, ITT, framework and mini-competition submissions.
• Develop bid strategies, win themes and compelling written responses.
