Job summary

Webber Hughes Ltd is seeking a Bid Writer & Business Development Co-ordinator to lead tender writing and drive new business opportunities within the health and social care sector. The role involves managing the bid lifecycle, coordinating with senior stakeholders and maintaining a compliant content library.

You will support market research, develop BD collateral, and assist with CRM and pipeline management, contributing to the company’s growth and reputation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in tender writing, bid management or business development, ideally within health and social care or regulated sectors.
• Proven track record of producing successful bid submissions.
• Excellent written communication skills with ability to write clearly and persuasively within word limits.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, able to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, writing and submission of tender responses for local authority, NHS and private sector commissioners, focusing on homecare and domiciliary care contracts.
• Manage full bid lifecycle from opportunity identification to submission and post-tender feedback.
• Maintain a library of bid content, case studies, policies and quality statements, ensuring current and compliant materials.
• Coordinate responses across internal stakeholders, ensuring submissions are accurate and evidence-based.
• Track tender pipeline activity, win rates and outcomes; monitor procurement portals for opportunities.
