Job summary

Routes Healthcare is seeking a Bid Writer / Business Development Coordinator in Rochdale. The role combines writing, coordination and submission of tenders across LA, NHS and private commissioners within a growing care provider.

You will own the tender pipeline end-to-end in a hybrid working setup with Head Office and branch network. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in tender writing or bid management, strong writing skills and ability to meet deadlines, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in tender writing, bid management, or business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead writing and submission of tender responses for LA, NHS, and private commissioners.
• Manage the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to post-tender feedback.
• Maintain a library of bid content, case studies, and quality statements.
• Coordinate input from Registered Managers, clinical leads, and senior leadership.
• Monitor procurement portals for new opportunities and keep supplier profiles up to date.
• Support BD presentations, market research, and CRM administration.
• Help plan and deliver commissioner days, networking events, and sector conferences.
