Inception Pro are recruiting for a Bid Writer on behalf of an established, family-owned commercial vehicle business.
You’ll take ownership of bids from the first discussion through to submission, turning input from colleagues across the business into clear, persuasive responses that help secure new contracts and retain existing customers.
You’ll also help shape the bid strategy, develop the bid library and improve the tools used to pursue future opportunities.
Flexible hybrid working is available, potentially with two days working from home and three days in the office each week. The business recognises the need for quiet, focused time when preparing bids.
Working from home may begin before probation is completed, with the timing and weekly arrangements to be agreed with the successful candidate.
We welcome candidates with bid-writing experience from sectors such as vehicle or plant hire, highways, utilities, construction, facilities management, transport or logistics. Experience preparing public sector tenders and framework submissions would be particularly relevant.
Our client provides specialist vehicle hire, fleet solutions and bespoke vehicle services, supporting customers across the public sector, highways and utilities.
The business is an approved supplier on several public sector procurement frameworks, with safety and compliance central to its services.
Work authorisation: You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
