Job summary

Loom Talent has partnered with a leading UK 3PL provider to appoint a Tender Manager. You will own the end-to-end tender process, from qualification to contract award, crafting strategic response plans and pricing justifications across commercial, operations and solutions teams.

The role offers UK-wide flexibility with Midlands travel 2-3 days weekly. Salary £60,000-£65,000 plus £5,000 car/allowance, 10% bonus, pension, private health care and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Background in bid/tender management within 3PL contract logistics.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations.
• Strong commercial awareness with costing/pricing insights.
• Experience managing high-value tender processes.
• Ability to develop clear, compelling customer propositions.
• Highly articulate, translating complex info into engaging content.
• Strong written communication.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic tender opportunities from qualification through to submission and award.
• Develop bid strategies responding to customer requirements and competitive landscapes.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational and solutions teams to tailor customer solutions.
• Lead and coordinate internal stakeholders with clear deadlines and communication.
• Oversee creation of high-quality tender documentation and presentations.
• Identify customer requirements and translate into compelling responses.
• Review pricing and commercial assumptions within tenders to ensure competitiveness.
• Support customer meetings, presenting proposed solutions and handling questions.
• Manage multiple tenders simultaneously and ensure timely submissions.
• Improve tender processes, quality and bid performance across the business.
