Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a commercially minded Sales & Bid Operations Manager to coordinate bids and sales campaigns within a fast-growing technology and engineering business. You will connect sales, engineering, finance and legal teams to drive efficient qualification through to contract award.

You will influence how opportunities are qualified, managed and won, shaping commercial processes as the company scales and expands into defence and advanced tech markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in bid management, proposal coordination, sales operations or commercial support.
• Strong CRM experience, ideally using HubSpot or a similar platform.
• Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to work with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, process-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the full bid lifecycle from qualification through to proposal submission and contract award.
• Develop bid plans, schedules and review processes to ensure submissions are on time and to a high standard.
• Coordinate contributions from technical, commercial, project management and leadership teams.
• Maintain proposal quality, compliance, document control and submission readiness.
• Support proposal development, customer responses, project planning and pricing activities.
