Job summary

Insignis Talent is seeking a Bid Procurement Manager to support defence and C&I programmes, liaising with Business Development, Programme, Finance and Bid teams to shape supply chain strategies for bids.

You will identify and engage suppliers, lead supplier engagement throughout the bid process, and ensure the supply base can support current and future requirements, while delivering commercial value.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting bids or proposals, ideally within defence, engineering or regulated environments.
• Strong supplier management and relationship-building experience.
• Proven negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
• Good understanding of contract law and procurement principles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

We are looking for a Bid Procurement Manager to support defence and C&I programmes, working closely with Business Development, Programme, Finance and Bid teams.

You will help shape supply chain strategies for bids, identify and engage suppliers, and ensure the supply base can support both current requirements and future programmes.

This is a fast-paced role where you will have a strong influence on supplier strategy, commercial value and winning new business.

Security Clearance

UK citizenship is required.

You must be able to obtain and maintain UK Government SC security clearance.
