Job summary

Insignis Talent in Cheltenham, United Kingdom, is seeking a Bid Procurement Manager to support defence and C&I programmes, collaborating with Business Development, Programme, Finance and Bid teams to shape supply chain strategies and engage suppliers.

You will lead supplier engagement throughout the bid process, contribute to contract development, and drive commercial value while promoting social value and responsible sourcing.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting bids or proposals, ideally within defence, engineering or regulated environments.
• Strong supplier management and relationship-building experience.
• Proven negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
• Good understanding of contract law and procurement principles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of ITAR, EAR or international trade compliance.

We are looking for a Bid Procurement Manager to support defence and C&I programmes, working closely with Business Development, Programme, Finance and Bid teams.

You will help shape supply chain strategies for bids, identify and engage suppliers, and ensure the supply base can support both current requirements and future programmes.

This is a fast-paced role where you will have a strong influence on supplier strategy, commercial value and winning new business.
