AmcoGiffen is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead tender submissions for rail and civil engineering projects from Barnsley. The role combines bid management with high-quality written responses, requiring coordination with estimators, planners and subject-matter experts to win work.

You will develop bid strategies, draft compelling content, and ensure compliance across SQ/PQQ tender submissions while supporting regional growth and library development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading tenders in rail, civil engineering or construction.
• Strong written and editing skills for technical and quality responses.
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead tender opportunities from enquiry to submission.
• Coordinate bid activities and submission programmes.
• Draft, edit and quality-review technical and quality responses.
• Collaborate with estimators, planners and commercial teams to translate solutions for clients.
• Manage clarifications and tender addenda throughout the process.
