Job summary

Watkin Jones PLC in London is seeking an ambitious Bid Manager to lead the pursuit, development and conversion of opportunities across our residential and refurbishment portfolio.

You'll own the bid lifecycle from identifying opportunities through to submission, negotiation and securing partnerships, coordinating land, development, technical, commercial and construction teams to deliver winning bids that are commercially robust and technically compelling.

Qualifications

• Proven bid and tender management within residential development.
• Knowledge of affordable housing, PBSA, Build-to-Rent (BTR) and SFH.
• Experience supporting refurbishment, regeneration and planned works programmes.
• Strong commercial awareness, including development appraisals, GDV and cost planning.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple live opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the bid lifecycle from opportunity identification to submission.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across land, development, technical, commercial and construction.
• Negotiate and secure new development partnerships with RP and authorities.
• Ensure bids are commercially robust and technically compelling.
