Job summary

Made Tech is hiring a Bid Manager to lead end-to-end bid delivery, from pre-sales to proposal submission, across multiple UK offices. You will coordinate Client Partners, Industry Directors and internal teams to craft high-quality responses to multimillion-pound tenders while promoting continuous improvement and learning.

You will be mentored by Senior Bid Managers and participate in the bid community of practice, shaping processes, workshops and social-value integration.

Qualifications

• Experience in a bid or presales environment.
• Direct experience of writing and reviewing proposals for new business.
• Strong creative writing skills with an eye for detail.
• Experience of coordinating teams.
• An enthusiastic and effective communicator.
• Empathy and the ability to build relationships quickly across teams and the organisation.
• A proactive, roll-your-sleeves-up manner, with the ability to take ownership.
• A passion to learn and develop yourself alongside our processes.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Client Partners and Industry Directors to drive opportunities forward.
• Ensure bids align with ethos, strengths and customer insight.
• Coordinate teams, plan timelines, and hold team members accountable for bid contributions.
• Lead answer planning activities, including bid workshops.
• Manage bid governance coordination and qualification processes.
• Write, review and provide constructive feedback on written responses and presentations.
• Engage with commercial components of submissions.
• Take ownership of social value content and integration within bidding.
• Maintain bid content libraries and improve processes.
