Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in bid management or business development.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new opportunities through market research, events, and networking.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders.
• Lead and manage the bid process from review to submission.
• Coordinate bid writers, estimators and SMEs; ensure compliant pricing.
• Write, edit and finalize executive summaries, proposals and pricing schedules.
• Collaborate with BD and Operations to maintain bid pipeline and track results.
• Ensure bids reflect ARTIC's capabilities and value proposition; stay compliant with regs.
• Maintain records of bid opportunities, submissions, and outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bid Manager to join our Business Development team to help drive growth and success in our business.

Job Summary

The Bid Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the bid process for ARTIC Building Services, from identifying opportunities to submitting winning bids. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of bid management, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. The Bid Manager will work closely with the Business Development team, Operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that bids are accurately priced, well-written, and effectively showcase ARTIC's capabilities and value proposition.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, industry events, and networking
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to stay informed about upcoming opportunities and market trends
• Lead and manage the bid process, including:
  • Reviewing and analysing tender documents and requirements
  • Developing and implementing bid strategies and plans
  • Coordinating and managing the bid team, including writers, estimators, and subject matter experts
  • Ensuring compliance with bid requirements and regulations
  • Managing bid budgets and resources
• Write, edit, and finalize bid documents, including executive summaries, technical proposals, and pricing schedules
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities and to track bid performance and results
• Work closely with Operations teams to ensure that bids are accurately priced and that operational capabilities are effectively showcased
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ARTIC's services, capabilities, and value proposition
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bid opportunities, submissions, and results

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in bid management, business development, or a related field
• Proven track record of successful bid management, with a strong win rate and a portfolio of winning bids
• Excellent communication, writing, and project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of building services, construction, or a related industry
• Knowledge of marketing and sales principles, with ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in bid management or a related field (e.g., APMP, CBID)
• Experience with CRM software and bid management tools
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities
