Tilbury Douglas in Wigan is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our North West region, driving high-quality bid submissions for construction work. You will lead bid planning, coordinate cross-functional teams and craft responses that meet client requirements and exceed expectations.

You will appraise ITT/RFPs, run bid strategy meetings and develop compelling proposals, with strong attention to deadlines and detail. The role offers competitive salary, car allowance, and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience appraising ITT/RFP documents to identify risks and opportunities.
• Ability to lead bid strategy meetings and bid programmes.
• Proven track record in developing compelling bid responses.
• Experience presenting to clients and running interviews.

Responsibilities

• Appraise ITT and RFP documentation to identify key risks and opportunities.
• Organise and lead bid strategy meetings, formulate bid programmes and lead the bid management process.
• Lead the development of bid responses that exceed our clients’ expectations.
• Prepare presentations and attend client interviews.
• Formulate and develop alternative proposals, including value engineering and optioneering.
• Contribute to planning, programming and the development of construction methodologies.
