Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our Regional Build Work Winning team in the North West, based in Wigan. You will lead high-quality bid submissions and help secure new construction work, taking ownership of the bid process and coordinating with colleagues across the business to develop compelling proposals that meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a bid team and bid processes.
• Understanding of design and procurement processes.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Appraise ITT and RFP docs to identify risks and opportunities.
• Organise and lead bid strategy meetings, formulate bid programmes and lead the bid management process.
• Lead the development of bid responses that meet client expectations.
• Prepare presentations and attend client interviews.
• Develop alternative proposals including value engineering and optioneering.
• Contribute to planning, programming and construction methodologies.
