This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Manager, Senior Bid Writer or Proposal Manager who enjoys developing high-quality tender submissions and taking ownership of the bid process from start to finish.

The Group brings together specialist consultancies, construction and delivery expertise, and research capabilities, working on projects ranging from major international stadia to local sports, community and environmental initiatives. With a diverse portfolio of services and projects across UK and international markets, this role offers plenty of variety and the opportunity to make a real contribution to the Group's continued growth.

Duties:
  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity qualification and planning through to final submission
  • Develop bid strategies, win themes and response plans aligned with client requirements and evaluation criteria
  • Coordinate technical, operational and commercial stakeholders, managing responsibilities, reviews and deadlines
  • Write and develop compelling bid content, including executive summaries, methodologies, project approaches, quality and social value responses
  • Gather information from subject matter experts and turn technical information into clear, persuasive proposals
  • Manage bid compliance, quality assurance and internal approvals to ensure submissions are accurate and delivered on time
  • Coordinate pricing and commercial inputs with relevant stakeholders
  • Oversee final bid production and submission, working closely with the Bid Coordinator
  • Maintain and improve bid templates, case studies, project references and content libraries, embedding lessons learned and best practice
About you

They're looking for an experienced bid professional who is confident managing complex submissions, developing persuasive written content and coordinating multiple stakeholders. You'll be highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

You’ll ideally have:

  • At least three years' relevant experience in bid management, bid writing or proposal management
  • Proven experience managing bids from inception to completion
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Experience with bid governance, quality assurance and compliance processes

Experience within consultancy, professional services, construction or related sectors would be advantageous, as would Adobe InDesign capability and knowledge of the sports and/or water sectors.

Most importantly, you'll enjoy working collaboratively across a diverse business, developing high-quality submissions and helping a growing Group win new opportunities across UK and international markets.
