Job summary

Standard Life plc is seeking a proactive Bid Responses specialist to join a high-performing team. You will deliver high-quality responses to RFPs and research questionnaires for Employer Benefit Consultants and Corporate Advisers, supporting the tender process in a hybrid London/Edinburgh/Bristol setup.

• Assist pitches, site visits, and other critical stages of the sales process.
• Ensure submissions are well-crafted, accurate and compelling.

Location: Edinburgh, London or Bristol offices. Hybrid.

The role

Joining a high-performing team, you will work to deliver high-quality bid responses that support our continued success in the Workplace market.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing and delivering high-quality responses to RFPs and research questionnaires for our Employer Benefit Consultants (EBCs) and Corporate Advisers (CAs).
• Supporting the coordination and project management of the tender process, ensuring strong controls and timely delivery through the sales cycle.
• Working with a designated panel of EBCs and CAs, aligned via our BDD/BDM network.
• Helping the team prepare for pitches, site visits, and other critical stages of the sales process.
• You will be a key contributor in ensuring that every opportunity we pursue is supported by well-crafted, accurate and compelling submissions.
