Standard Life is seeking a proactive bid writer to join our team in the United Kingdom. You will manage high-quality responses to RFPs and research questionnaires for EBCs and CAs, coordinating tender processes and supporting pitches and site visits to drive sales success.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex information into clear content. We value cross-team collaboration and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence working across teams and managing multiple deadlines.
• Experience coordinating projects or processes where attention to detail and time management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering high-quality responses to RFPs and research questionnaires for our Employer Benefit Consultants (EBCs) and Corporate Advisers (CAs).
• Supporting the coordination and project management of the tender process, ensuring strong controls and timely delivery through the sales cycle.
• Working with a designated panel of EBCs and CAs, aligned via our BDD/BDM network.
• Helping the team prepare for pitches, site visits, and other critical stages of the sales process.
• You will be a key contributor in ensuring that every opportunity we pursue is supported by well-crafted, accurate and compelling submissions.

Salary and benefits: From £34,200, plus an indicative bonus range of 8% to 16%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more.
