Bid Manager – new role to set up a bid/pitch function in one of the UK’s most innovative law firms. Up to £80,000 + bonus.

This UK law firm is one of the most well-known in the sector and has doubled in size and revenue over the last five years. It boasts an ambitious and entrepreneurial partnership that truly understands business development.

In this brand new Bid Manager role, you will establish a new bid capability to meet the increasing demands of the business as the firm expands from disputes and private client work to more corporate and private equity work.

Specifically, you will:

• Lead on the firm’s major RFPs and panel pitches from start to finish, including coaching partners;
• Improve the win ratio, which currently stands at 50%;
• Develop processes, infrastructure, and systems around pitching;
• Implement a more proactive pursuit-led approach to pitching;
• Add creativity to bids, pitches, and proposals;
• Build a bid team in the medium term.

The role is suitable for a creative Bid Manager with a can-do attitude and experience in the full pitch lifecycle, stakeholder coaching, and developing central bid libraries. Legal experience is ideal, but the firm is open to candidates from wider professional services backgrounds.
