Bid Manager - 2 days a month in the London Office - £60,000 - £65,000

A leading construction company, established in 2000, is seeking a dynamic Bid Manager to join their team. Specializing in planned repairs and maintenance across various sectors, including commercial fit-out, social housing, education, heritage, healthcare, retail, residential, and leisure, the company has built a reputation for quality and reliability, with over 50% of business coming from repeat clients.

Role Overview: The Bid Manager will lead the bid process, ensuring all submissions align with the company's brand and strategic goals. This role involves planning and managing bids, delivering presentations, and building relationships with key stakeholders. The Bid Manager will work closely with the Bid Team, driving operational teams to enhance their submissions and contribute to new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage all aspects of the bid process
• Deliver presentations in line with the company’s brand
• Build relationships with key stakeholders
• Lead kick-off workshops and strategy sessions
• Manage direct reports and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders

Technical Expertise:

• Ability to write compelling, compliant content
• Question analysis and answer planning
• Legal and commercial understanding of bid content

Leadership Qualities:

• Coaching and mentoring colleagues
• Persuading and influencing clients and consultants
• Creating and delivering persuasive bids and presentations
• Providing constructive feedback

Key Experience:

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, including InDesign
• Translating brand strategy into content
• Working under pressure
