Bid Manager - Infrastructure

Location - Solihull, West Midlands

What you will be doing:

Join our Infrastructure division as a Bid Manager in the West Midlands, leading bid development and submission, and promoting Galliford Try as a business. Collaborate with senior team members, ensure compliance with governance, and drive business development.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of preconstruction processes, strong interpersonal skills, and exposure to UK infrastructure procurement, including regional and local government frameworks and tenders.

Key skills include excellent organization, communication, deadline management, leadership in successful bids, and driving business growth for profit maximization.

  1. Coordinate the bid submission process
  2. Develop a bid win strategy to maximize project success at sustainable rates
  3. Manage the bid budget
  4. Appoint and oversee third-party consultants and surveys
  5. Lead the bid team
  6. Create and manage bid timelines and responsibilities
  7. Organize bid team meetings and updates
  8. Maintain bid qualification schedules and approval forms
  9. Deliver presentations to diverse audiences including clients and senior management
