Job summary

MADE Careers is recruiting a Bid Coordinator for a leading architecture practice in London. You will help coordinate high-quality submissions within the Business Development & Bids team, support work winning activities and ensure bids are delivered to the highest standard.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Bid Coordinator or in a similar work-winning role.
  • Experience within architecture, engineering, construction or the wider built environment is essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Experience using procurement portals, bid trackers and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end bid process, ensuring submissions are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Lead bid programmes, trackers and procurement portals, monitoring deadlines and key milestones.
  • Coordinate input from architects, consultants and senior stakeholders across multiple live bids.
  • Prepare, edit and format high quality submission documents using Adobe InDesign, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Review tender documentation and ensure submissions are compliant with client requirements.
  • Maintain and develop bid libraries, including project information, CVs and case studies.
  • Monitor procurement portals and framework opportunities, ensuring relevant opportunities are identified and communicated.
  • Support bid kick off meetings, interview preparation and post submission reviews.
  • Help develop best practice across the bids function, identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

Job description

We're working on a fantastic opportunity for a Bid Coordinator to join a leading architecture practice in London.

Working as part of an established Business Development & Bids team, you'll play a key role in coordinating high quality submissions, supporting work winning activity and ensuring bids are delivered to the highest possible standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing multiple moving parts, thrives on deadlines and takes pride in producing polished, compelling submissions.

The Role

This is a fast paced, collaborative role sitting at the heart of the practice's work winning function.

Working closely with Directors, architects and the wider Business Development team, you'll coordinate the bid process from opportunity through to submission, ensuring deadlines are met, information is accurate and every submission reflects the quality of the practice.

You'll also help maintain bid resources, support opportunity tracking and contribute to the continual improvement of bid processes across the business.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Bid Coordinator, Bid Executive or within a similar work winning role.
  • Experience within architecture, engineering, construction or the wider built environment is essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Confident coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience using procurement portals, bid trackers and CRM systems.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of UK procurement processes and design competitions would be advantageous.
