Job summary

3Search in Manchester is seeking an experienced Bid Consultant to join our growing team. You will own complex bids across healthcare, education, facilities management, construction and recruitment, writing and refining compelling responses and managing client relationships.

This hybrid role requires 2 days in the office in Greater Manchester, with senior-level responsibility and opportunities to mentor junior consultants while driving high-quality bid delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' bid management and bid writing experience, ideally in a consultancy or client-facing environment.
• Experience leading complex or high-value bids with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder and client management with the ability to challenge and influence.
• Attention to detail and ability to translate complex information into clear, persuasive responses.
• Strong organisation and workload management skills.
• Proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering an excellent client experience.
• Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support on standard and complex bids from qualification and planning through to final submission.
• Write, review and refine high-quality, compelling and evidence-led bid responses.
• Manage client relationships, providing expert advice and constructively challenging where appropriate.
• Lead client meetings, kick-offs, workshops and bid reviews with a range of stakeholders.
• Identify risks, gaps and opportunities within bids and recommend solutions.

A leading Manchester-based bid writing and consultancy business is looking to appoint an experienced Bid Consultant to join their growing team. Working across a diverse range of sectors including healthcare, education, facilities management, construction and recruitment, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bid professional to take ownership of complex bids and build strong client relationships,

Location

Greater Manchester - hybrid working, with 2 days in the office.
